
OHIO — Police are investigating a shooting after a man was found injured and a blood trail was discovered in a Dayton neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor, officers were called to the 800 block of Catalpa Drive around 2:50 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a man who had been shot in the upper torso, police said.
Authorities also reported finding a blood trail that led to the other side of a nearby duplex, but officers did not locate any additional victims.
The condition of the victim has not been released.
No suspect information or details about what led to the shooting were immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
