
KENTUCKY — One person has died and several others were injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 in Christian County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened Saturday near the 86-mile marker on I-24 and involved three vehicles traveling eastbound.
Authorities reported one fatality and multiple injuries as a result of the collision. Two passengers were flown from the scene with serious injuries.
Officials identified the victim as 39-year-old Elizabeth Lubke of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She was airlifted to a hospital in Tennessee, where she later died Tuesday.
Police said the second passenger who was flown from the scene is expected to recover.
The crash remains under investigation.
