LOUISIANA — A man was injured in a shooting late Monday night in the French Quarter, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said officers responded just before 11 p.m. to the intersection of Iberville and Royal streets, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials have not released information on his condition.
No suspect information or possible motive has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
