FLORIDA — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered beneath the Garcon Point Bridge on March 30, according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said a man found the body of a deceased male just north of Highway 98 under the bridge and immediately contacted authorities.
The sheriff’s office said its Major Crimes Unit is working alongside the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the individual.
No additional details, including the identity of the deceased or cause of death, have been released.
The case remains an active investigation.
