TEXAS — One person is dead and another was flown to a hospital after a crash involving two e-bike riders and a pickup truck Monday night in Pasadena, authorities said.
According to reports, the crash happened just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of San Jacinto Drive and Queens Road.
Investigators said two people, believed to be riding e-bikes, collided with a pickup truck. The riders were described as one adult male and a possible teenager.
One of the riders was pronounced dead at the scene. The second rider was taken to a hospital by Life Flight with injuries. Their condition has not been released.
Officials have not said what led up to the crash, and it remains unclear whether any charges will be filed.
Authorities also have not released information on the condition of the pickup truck driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
