PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were killed and three others were injured in a shooting Monday evening in Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Authorities said the shooting occurred near the intersection of 60th Street and Delancey Street. Officers responded to the scene and found five people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The conditions of the three surviving victims have not been released.
Investigators have not identified the victims, and no motive has been confirmed.
The department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
