TENNESSEE — One man was arrested Monday after authorities seized more than $5,000 and illegal drugs from an apartment in Tiptonville, according to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force.
Agents said they executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 500 block of Cherry Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
During the search, investigators reported finding approximately half an ounce of cocaine, half a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia including sandwich bags and electronic sales equipment, and $5,692 in cash.
Authorities said the suspect was charged with possession of a Schedule II and Schedule VI controlled substance with intent to manufacture, deliver, or sell, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held in jail pending arraignment.
The operation was assisted by the Tiptonville Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.
