
ILLINOIS — Several people were arrested Monday during a drug enforcement operation at a Rochelle gas station, according to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the sheriff’s office’s special operations unit, along with agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, carried out the operation at the Petro Travel Center, located at 900 Petro Drive.
Officials said multiple individuals were taken into custody on drug-related charges. The sheriff’s office also reported that those arrested had outstanding nationwide extraditable warrants.
All suspects are currently being held at the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office pending court hearings.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those arrested or specific charges they face, but said more information will be provided at a later time.
