IOWA — One person was killed Monday afternoon following a UTV crash near Waterloo, authorities said.
According to officials, 66-year-old Scott Reynolds was driving a utility terrain vehicle southbound just north of Crane Creek Road at approximately 1:35 p.m. when the crash occurred.
Investigators said the UTV went off the roadway and rolled into a ditch before coming to rest on its driver’s side. The vehicle then caught fire.
Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details have been released. The crash remains under investigation.
