
NORTH CAROLINA — One person was injured in a shooting early Sunday in Raleigh, according to authorities.
The Raleigh Police Department said officers responded around 12:15 a.m. to the 3300 block of Walnut Creek Parkway for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
No suspect has been identified.
Authorities said detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact Raleigh police at 919-996-3335 or submit an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
