
OKLAHOMA — A man was killed in a crash Saturday evening on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma County, according to authorities.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. on eastbound I-40, just west of the Kickapoo Turnpike.
Investigators identified the driver as 28-year-old Nolan Anderson of Guthrie. Troopers said Anderson was traveling eastbound when his vehicle left the roadway to the right for an unknown reason.
Authorities reported that the vehicle struck a bridge support and came to rest.
Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was the only occupant of the vehicle and was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
