FLORIDA — Deputies in Lake County are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered child, according to authorities.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said 12-year-old Sofia Prendville was last seen around 9:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her residence in the Clermont area.
Sofia is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. Officials said she has black and purple hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing black pants and a cream-colored sweater.
Authorities said the girl is considered missing and endangered.
Anyone with information about Sofia’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
