NORTH CAROLINA — One person was killed in an early morning crash Saturday in Charlotte, according to officials.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 85 South near University City Boulevard in north Charlotte.
Emergency responders with Medic confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash.
Details about what led to the incident have not been released.
Officials have not yet identified the victim. The crash remains under investigation.
