OHIO — An Ohio Lottery player won $10,000 after purchasing a ticket at a North Royalton business, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was sold at The 3 Spot, located at 13855 Ridge Road. The winner, identified only as David, is the owner of the business and said he regularly plays Ohio Lottery progressive games.

According to the Ohio Lottery, David purchased a $20 EZPLAY Jackpot USA ticket that included Spin Numbers of 2, 7 and 5. The numbers added up to 14, matching the $10,000 winning spot on the Liberty Spin wheel.

After mandatory state and federal taxes, David will receive approximately $7,325.

Lottery officials said the multi-state progressive jackpot game has overall odds of winning of 1 in 4.22. As of March 25, the progressive jackpot stood at more than $1.65 million.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to education across the state.
