ALABAMA — A girl has died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Mobile, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Officials said officers were called to a hospital around 2:40 p.m. on March 26 after receiving a report that a child had arrived by personal vehicle with injuries from an earlier incident.
Police said the child had been hit by a vehicle in the 2200 block of Clinton Street.
The girl later died at the hospital, authorities confirmed.
Officials said the driver involved in the incident is cooperating with investigators. No additional details have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
