
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person died Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Spartanburg County, according to authorities.
Investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 2:47 p.m. at the intersection of Jordan Road and Shelburne Lane.
According to officials, a 2010 Toyota was traveling west on Jordan Road and attempted to turn left onto Shelburne Lane when it was struck by a 2024 Ford pickup truck traveling east.
Authorities said a passenger in the Toyota was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where they later died from their injuries.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
