FLORIDA — Two people were killed in a shooting Tuesday morning at the Indian River County Main Library in Vero Beach, according to authorities.
Police said the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the library, located at 1600 21st Street. As of mid-morning, the scene remained active as officers continued their investigation.
The Vero Beach Police Department said there is no immediate threat to the public.
Officials have not released the identities of the victims or any information about a possible suspect.
Authorities also did not specify what led to the shooting.
