
NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating after a person was found shot outside a shopping center in Durham County on Monday evening.
According to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 6:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of Wake Forest Highway.
Investigators said the victim was believed to have been shot at a different location before driving to the shopping center, where they sought help. A small silver car with a bullet hole in the driver’s side door was found outside a Carlie C’s grocery store.
The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Officials said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
