NORTH CAROLINA — A Greenville man was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle on Old River Road, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 8:05 p.m. on March 22 near Barrus Construction Road.
Investigators said 50-year-old Lementrius Roach was walking eastbound in the westbound lane when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.
Roach was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
