WISCONSIN — One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash Monday morning in Fitchburg, according to police.
The Fitchburg Police Department said officers were called just after 7 a.m. to the area of East Cheryl Parkway and the Agora for a reported crash.
Authorities confirmed that one person died as a result of the incident.
Police have not released the identity of the victim or any details about the suspect vehicle.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
