
TENNESSEE — Nearly 2,500 homes and businesses across Tennessee are without electricity as of Monday morning, according to the latest outage data.
A total of 2,497 customers are without power statewide, representing about 0.07% of the 3,487,867 customers tracked. Tennessee currently ranks ninth in the nation for total outages and eighth for the percentage of customers affected.
Shelby County accounts for the vast majority of outages, with 2,186 customers without service. It is also the hardest hit by percentage, with approximately 0.51% of customers affected.
Other counties reporting outages include Greene County (175), Sumner County (85), Roane County (21), Putnam County (7), Pickett County (5), Blount County (2), and Hardeman County (2).
Among utility providers, Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division reports the largest number of outages, with 2,186 customers without power. South Kentucky RECC has the highest percentage of customers affected among utilities in the state, at about 2.07%.
Crews are working to restore power across impacted areas. No estimated restoration times have been announced. Residents are urged to report outages and avoid downed power lines as restoration efforts continue.
