ALABAMA — Two Foley residents were killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
State troopers said the crash occurred around 5:27 p.m. on County Road 12, approximately five miles west of Foley.
Authorities said Jefferson Davis, 61, was driving a 2014 Maserati Ghibli when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
Davis and his passenger, 57-year-old Tamantha Davis, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said it is unclear what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway, and it has not been determined whether either occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the crash.
