
NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating after multiple people were found dead inside a home Sunday morning in Robeson County.
According to Sheriff Burnis Wilkins with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Melinda Road, located outside of Pembroke, after reports of multiple deaths.
When deputies arrived, they discovered several individuals dead inside the home. Officials have not yet released the number of victims or their identities.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the deaths, including a possible cause, have not been disclosed.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains active, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
