OHIO — A 15-year-old has died following a shooting early Sunday morning in Cincinnati’s North Avondale neighborhood, according to police.
Officers were dispatched around 12:02 a.m. to the 800 block of Glenwood Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
Authorities later identified the victim as Nazir Owens, 15.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
