
TEXAS — A wrong-way driver has been arrested following a three-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 10, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. in the 11400 block of IH-10 West in the southbound lanes.
Police said a 41-year-old man was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when his vehicle first collided with a truck. Moments later, the same vehicle struck a second car driven by a 47-year-old woman who was traveling in the correct direction.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in serious condition.
Authorities said the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of intoxication-related charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
