OHIO — One person was hospitalized after a semi-truck crash on Interstate 70 in Preble County Saturday morning, according to authorities.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:42 a.m. to I-70 westbound near mile marker 5 following reports of a semi crash, a Preble County dispatcher said.
Deputies with the Preble County Sheriff’s Office, along with fire and EMS crews, responded to the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol also assisted.
CareFlight was initially placed on standby but was later canceled by crews at the scene.
Medics transported one person to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
