KENTUCKY — A man is dead following a crash in the Pleasure Ridge Park area Thursday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
Police said officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Trent Avenue.
An initial investigation found that a Ford pickup truck rear-ended a utility bucket truck that was stopped at a traffic light.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to UofL Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
