INDIANA — A man was arrested after deputies say he stole an ambulance and led law enforcement on a chase before crashing the vehicle.
According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began when the suspect took an ambulance from a local hospital. Deputies later located the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the driver refused to pull over, prompting a pursuit.
Authorities said the chase ended when the suspect crashed the ambulance. He was taken into custody at the scene.
Officials have not released the suspect’s identity or details about potential charges.
No injuries were immediately reported.
