FLORIDA — A man has died following a stabbing stemming from a domestic dispute in South Daytona on Wednesday, according to authorities.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. on Gary Boulevard, where officials say a woman, her husband, and her boyfriend were all living together. According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and local police, the husband allegedly stabbed the woman’s boyfriend during the altercation.
Responding officers with the South Daytona Police Department took the husband into custody at the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Authorities say neighbors reported hearing someone screaming for help during the incident.
The case remains under investigation, and officials have not yet announced what charges, if any, the suspect may face.
