
GEORGIA — A 47-year-old man was arrested on multiple felony charges after deputies recovered a stolen motorcycle in Bibb County, according to authorities.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said members of the S.R.T. Unit and K-9 Interdiction Unit located the stolen motorcycle on Log Cabin Drive approximately two weeks ago and detained the driver.
The suspect was identified as Christopher Roy Helton, 47.
According to officials, deputies recovered the stolen Suzuki motorcycle and found Helton in possession of more than an ounce of methamphetamine in his front pocket.
Helton was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, where he faces several felony charges, including theft by receiving stolen property and drug-related offenses involving marijuana.
The investigation remains ongoing.
