According to investigators, William Jones, 68, Micah Jones, 49, Melissa Jones, 23, and William Childress, 26, were taken into custody March 3 after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a Huntsville home.
Officials say the suspects were involved in manufacturing and distributing fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills along with other illegal narcotics.

William and Micah Jones are each charged with trafficking opiates, trafficking synthetic narcotics, and trafficking marijuana, with bonds set at $4.5 million. Melissa Jones and William Childress are charged with conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime, with bonds set at $500,000.
The investigation involved the Huntsville Police Department, the North Alabama Drug Task Force, the DEA, and the Region F Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
