LOUISIANA — Deputies in Livingston Parish are searching for a man accused of stealing a $5,000 riding lawnmower from a property in Holden earlier this month.
According to authorities, 37-year-old Derwin Johnson, of Hammond, is wanted in connection with the theft of a red and gray Exmark Lazer Z mower from a property along Florida Boulevard on March 10. Deputies say Johnson also attempted to steal several other items from the same location.
Johnson is facing one count of felony theft and two counts of attempted felony theft, officials said.
Investigators noted that a second suspect, who has not yet been identified, is also being sought in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts or the identity of the second suspect is urged to contact local law enforcement.
