
FLORIDA — Nearly 4,000 customers across Florida are without power as of Wednesday morning, according to outage tracking data.
A total of 3,727 homes and businesses are affected statewide, representing about 0.03% of more than 10.9 million customers tracked. Florida ranks sixth in the nation for total outages and 18th for the percentage of customers impacted.
Pinellas County reported the highest number of outages, with 2,601 customers without power. Smaller outages were also reported in Miami-Dade, Broward and Alachua counties.
Among utility providers, Duke Energy reported the largest number of outages, with more than 2,700 customers affected. Florida Power & Light Company also reported several hundred outages across its service area.
Crews are working to restore power, but no estimated timeline for full restoration has been announced.
