
NORTH CAROLINA — Two men were arrested following a months-long drug investigation in Statesville that led to the seizure of cocaine and fentanyl, according to police.
Authorities said the investigation culminated Thursday when officers executed a search warrant at a home on Nelly Green Circle. During the search, police reported finding more than five ounces of cocaine and 17 grams of fentanyl.
Police identified the suspects as 40-year-old Ralph Zartuche and 44-year-old Raymond Ramseur. Both men are facing trafficking charges.
Officials said Ramseur is currently facing his 27th pending felony case involving the sale or possession of cocaine.
Both suspects were taken into custody and are being held at the Iredell County Detention Center under $750,000 secured bonds.
The investigation remains ongoing.
