OHIO — Two crashes along Interstate 480 eastbound caused major delays for drivers during the Tuesday morning commute.
The first crash was reported around 6 a.m. near Warrensville Center Road. The Ohio Department of Transportation said the incident blocked the two left lanes beyond State Route 14/Broadway Avenue.
As of shortly after 8 a.m., the crash was still blocking lanes and causing delays of nearly one hour between Interstate 77 and Interstate 271.
A second crash was reported just before 7 a.m. eastbound past Columbia Road, though officials said it did not appear to significantly impact traffic.
Authorities have not released information on what caused the crashes or whether any injuries were reported.
