NORTH CAROLINA — One person was taken to the hospital Monday evening after a tree fell onto a home in Durham, officials said.
Durham County Emergency Management responded to the incident in the 1000 block of Red Oak Avenue around 5:40 p.m.
Authorities said a tree had fallen onto the house, prompting an emergency response.
One person was transported to a hospital. Officials have not released details about the person’s injuries.
Authorities say they are continuing to gather information about the incident.
