FLORIDA — A shooting in Edgewater that left one person injured is under investigation, according to the Edgewater Police Department.
Officers responded to a call on East Yelka Terrace after receiving reports that a person had been shot. When officers arrived, they secured the scene and began investigating the incident.
Police said the suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
Authorities also said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
Officials have not released additional details about the victim’s condition or what led to the shooting.
