
FLORIDA — Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Wakulla County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Smith Creek Road.
Authorities said an 18-year-old man was driving a pickup truck north when the vehicle veered onto the shoulder. The driver then swerved, lost control and the truck spun out, overturned and ejected him from the vehicle.
The driver suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive, according to troopers.
A 17-year-old female passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
