TEXAS — A teenager was arrested after a man was stabbed during a fight early Saturday morning in a parking lot on the city’s West Side, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded around 6:05 a.m. to the 1300 block of Springvale Drive after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Police said they found a man in a parking lot suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
The victim told officers he was attempting to leave the area when an unknown teenage male confronted him, punched him and then stabbed him with a sharp object during the altercation.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived but was later located nearby and taken into custody, authorities said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not release additional information about the suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing.
