
NORTH CAROLINA — Two Virginia residents are facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Alexander County led to the seizure of methamphetamine, according to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Raymond Curtis Lomax, 42, and Adrianna Lynn Lazo, 24, following the stop. Authorities said the investigation resulted in the seizure of 72 grams of methamphetamine.
Lomax and Lazo were each charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects are being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond.
Their first court appearance is scheduled for March 16 in Alexander County District Court.
