OHIO — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in Fairfield County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Pleasantville Road near State Route 158 in Greenfield Township.
Troopers said an SUV traveling eastbound collided with a car in the westbound lane.
The driver of the SUV was transported by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the car, identified as 33-year-old Seth Peele of Lancaster, was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.
The crash remains under investigation.
