VIRGINIA — A 65-year-old man died Wednesday night after a single-vehicle crash in Pittsylvania County, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash around 10 p.m. on Old Richmond Road.
Authorities said Stephen Lee Buergey, of Pittsylvania, was driving a Lexus RX-300 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Buergey died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Virginia State Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
