
TENNESSEE — Two children were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving a school bus in Memphis.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Scottsdale Avenue and Knight Road in the Parkway Village area, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Officials said the crash involved two vehicles, including the school bus. Two children were transported to a hospital with injuries that were described as non-critical.
Authorities have not released additional details about how the crash happened or whether anyone else was injured.
Memphis-Shelby County Schools and First Student, the company that manages the district’s bus services, have been contacted for comment. No response had been received as of Wednesday evening.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
