
GEORGIA — The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 62-year-old man who was last seen in late February.
Police say VW Lawhorn was last seen around 8 a.m. on Feb. 21, 2026, in the area of Forest Road. His disappearance was reported to authorities on March 7.
Lawhorn is described as a white male with gray and white hair and hazel eyes. He stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. Police said the clothing he was wearing at the time he was last seen is unknown.
Authorities also say Lawhorn is homeless and is known to drive an older silver Ford F-150.
