OHIO — Youngstown Community School will be closed on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, after a sewer break affected the building.
School officials announced the closure in a post on the school’s Facebook page, stating that the sewer break is impacting the school facility. As a result of the issue, classes will not be held for students on Wednesday.
The school said the closure will count as a “calamity day,” meaning students will not attend classes while the problem is addressed.
Further updates are expected once the issue has been resolved and the school is able to reopen.
