NORTH CAROLINA — The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of assaults involving drivers and their vehicles in the Pembroke area.
Detectives said the incidents occurred along Buie Philadelphius Road in Pembroke. The investigation is being handled by the sheriff’s office Special Victims Unit.
Authorities are asking residents who live along Buie Philadelphius Road to review their home surveillance cameras for any suspicious people or activity that may have occurred between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Anyone with information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at 910-671-3100. Deputies have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
