INDIANA — A 25-year-old woman is in critical condition following a shooting Monday night in Anderson, according to the Anderson Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 11 p.m. on March 9 in the 2600 block of Pearl Street, near East 23rd Street and Central Avenue in Anderson.
When officers arrived, they located a woman who had been shot. Police said she was transported to a hospital in Indianapolis, where she remains in critical condition.
Investigators said detectives have identified multiple persons of interest in connection with the shooting and are continuing to canvass the area for additional evidence and witnesses.
