OHIO — The eastbound exit ramp at Toll Plaza 161 on the Ohio Turnpike in Strongsville was closed Tuesday following a commercial truck rollover, according to authorities.
Officials said the crash occurred at the Strongsville–Cleveland exit, prompting the closure of the eastbound ramp while emergency crews responded to the scene.
Troopers said a medical helicopter, Life Flight, was called to assist, though it was not immediately clear how many people may have been injured in the crash.
Drivers traveling eastbound on the Ohio Turnpike were advised to use alternate exits, including Toll Plaza 151 in North Ridgeville or Toll Plaza 173 in Cleveland.
Authorities have not said when the exit ramp will reopen. The crash remains under investigation.
