
OHIO — One person was arrested on multiple federal charges during an operation carried out by U.S. Marshals early Tuesday morning in Dayton.
According to a spokesperson for the U.S. Marshals Service, a team of marshals executed a federal arrest warrant in the 100 block of East Elmwood Avenue on Tuesday morning. The warrant was issued in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations.
Authorities said one individual was taken into custody on charges related to drug trafficking and weapons violations. Additional details about the suspect, including their identity, have not yet been released.
Dayton police officers were called to assist with prisoner transport at approximately 6:14 a.m., according to reports.
No further information has been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
