OHIO — A driver was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a crash on State Route 711 in Trumbull County.
According to police, the crash happened in the southbound lane of Route 711 near the Gypsy Lane and Belmont Avenue exit. Authorities said the driver experienced a medical emergency before the vehicle struck a guardrail.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital, but their condition has not been released.
Traffic in the area was slowed while crews worked to clear the wreckage. The crash remains under investigation.
